Care rooted in individuality, honesty, and real connection.

Orchid Therapy Group was created from the belief that healing doesn’t happen by forcing yourself into someone else’s idea of what therapy should look like. It happens when care feels human, respectful, and grounded in who you actually are. Our work is centered on creating space for people to show up honestly, without pressure to perform, explain, or rush their process. Therapy here is collaborative and paced around your needs, honoring both evidence-based practice and lived experience.

Deborah Walker, LPC

Practice Founder | Licensed Professional Counselor

Deborah works primarily with young adults and individuals navigating trauma, PTSD, anxiety, and major life transitions. Her approach is grounded in evidence-based care while remaining flexible, collaborative, and paced around each client’s needs.

She integrates modalities such as CBT, DBT, mindfulness, and person-centered therapy, creating space for clients to explore their experiences in a way that feels steady, supportive, and authentic. Deborah is especially committed to working with veterans, and those with trauma backgrounds.

Community Care

Care that extends
beyond the therapy room.

Orchid Therapy Group believes care should be rooted in community. Through our CARES Program, we support local shelters and community-based organizations by offering ongoing contributions and partnerships that align with our values.

This program reflects our commitment to showing up beyond individual sessions and investing in the well-being of the communities we’re part of. Giving back is not an add-on to our work, it’s woven into how we practice and how we care.
